Earthi

What I Did

UI/UX Design, Responsive Web Design

The Earthi website aimed to create a simple and modern design that wouldn’t distract users from the products and important content would be highlighted all while maintaining consistency which would eventually provide a positive user experience.

The website has a clear and easy-to-use navigation bar that has logically organised categories to create clarity in order to convert views into sales.  To make sure that the website remains clear and consistent I have looked into the readability and accessibility score and thus reviewed my choice of font, text layout, and colour.

Martins Furniture

What I Did

UI/UX Design, Responsive Web Design

Martin’s old Wix website did not allow them to create a complex e-commerce shop that would maintain their SEO.  I therefore took their website off Wix and into WordPress as I knew this would be a better platform for their plethora of products and would help in generating organic traffic to their website.

I redesigned their website and made it simple to follow, clean and modern with their majority of customers (45+) in mind. This meant that text had to be bigger than it usually would to increase clarity especially for those customers that may be less IT literate. However, I kept in mind that Martins wanted to increase their sales from a younger target audience so the modern design and social media marketing techniques were crucial to this.

MiasHome

What I Did

UI/UX Design, Development & Management

MiasHome is a pre-existing website that severely lacked UX design as the interaction and usability with the website was confusing which contributed to an extreme lack of sales. It was not set up for mobile or tablet use and a lot of content was hidden in PDF documents instead of being presented directly to the potential customers.

As a result, I changed the design of the website making it more user-friendly with the ability for it to be viewed across various platforms and browsers. I am currently in the process of updating the product’s content which will make the pages easier to understand.

The Chai Room

What I Did

UX Design & Branding

The Chai Room required a simple website that mainly displayed their menu along with some visually appealing photography to entice people to stop by the shop and purchase one of the products.

I designed a simple menu with the consideration that most people would be viewing it on a mobile device, therefore categories and clear columns with all essential information was vital. I also photographed the products and added them to the website with a photograph that was focused on close-ups of the food to highlight the details and show its freshness.
